Teacher Recruitment
|
What, now already? Yes!
No, it's not too early to think about this, especially in a religious educator transition year. By June 11, 2017, we really would like 80% of our teaching team filled. Heavy duty teacher recruiting is not something you want your brand-new religious educator to focus on in their first months! The religious education of the children and youth in our church is the responsibility of the entire congregation. This cooperative concept implies that everyone is invested in a commitment to excellence in religious education—the nurturing of young minds and sacred souls. Teachers are supported throughout the year by materials, curriculum, staff, and fellow teachers. Deepen your relationship to one another, to our community, and your faith experience. RE Endowment Fund |
RE Endowment Fund
Religious Education has a small endowment fund. To see the initiatives that this fund can be used for, click here. These funds exist to be used to further our mission related to religious education for children and youth. For 2018, we have $810 to spend. If we do not spend it, the income builds up the corpus but does not directly benefit the program until and unless it is used. Anyone can propose a project, click here for instructions. Should good fortune or an outpouring of generosity strike you, you can make donations to this fund to support the long term survivability of the the RE program. |
